Experience of trailer breakdown service

I need to renew my trailer breakdown cover and before I do wondered if anyone had experiences, good and bad, to share? I have never had to call on them, and wondered if there were any exclusions to be aware of. Eg I have a J reg car so no use if they have an age limit on the vehicle.

I already have homestart breakdown cover so don't need that, just need to know that I'll get rescued if it all goes wrong!

Any recommendations welcome.
