experiences of cool mats

Hi
Has anyone got a cool mat, do your dogs use it? I have seen the easidri cooling mat and am thinking about buying it but wanted to know if its worth it or if there are any other options out there.
I have 2 huskies, and with the warmer weather coming I thought it might be worth a go?

I have one and my dog thinks it is great! If it is a warm day she will lay on it over the cool kitchen floor.

If you stand on it (as I did to see if it really worked!) it really does get cool. Mine has a gel in it - I can't remember the name of it sadly - but would definitely recommend them.
 
I used one in my crate to fly my ddb mastiff to usa and then a rottie to USA ...it kept the crate cool and was very effective...I've not used it since. here,we have tiled floors and the dogs( in Italy ) lie on a tiled floor in front of fans to keep cool..id not use one indoors on a daily basis as you have to keep refreezing the gel mat to keep the cooling effect.
 
I have one of the gel type coolmats. I bought it from TKMaxx and it is a good size and was cheap too.
I use it in the crate, in the car when it isn't so hot that I need to put the cool coat on, but just keep him a bit cooler than with nothing. It works, I tested it myself by sitting on it when I drove the car somewhere. My backside was quite chilly in a few minutes!
