I ride one of my horses in a Myler Mullen Barrel with eggbutt cheeks & she is happy in it - but of course it gives me no brakes when I need them
I've tried all sorts of bits & spent an absolute fortune - I recently borrowed a cheltenham gag for xc & all seemed to go well so I took out a mortgage and bought her a Neue Schule one. I took her xc schooling on Sunday & the instructor advised me to take it out after giving her time to settle as she hated it. Once she was back in her Myler she tanked off with me and generally had a whale of a time!
I see they do her usual Myler with Pelham fixings and I wonder if that would keep her happy but give me some brakes too. Before I try it could someone explain to me how the pelham works please, especially when used with roundings.
Thank you
