Hi My 4year old last year (august) damaged her extensor tendon on her hear hind hock, as in serious hole:(
She was but on paddock rest(very small)
Was rescanned in december hole was healing very well, BUT she is still lame!!!
Been 6months and she is still lame, not majorly about 2/10s she wasn't much worse when first diagnosed.
She has magnetic boots on at night, just wondering if the is anything else I can be doing?? Ruled out IRAP and stemcell as not great results on extensor tendons.
Oh and we havent a clue how she has done this injury she was only in work from march hacking, schooling bit of jumping the usual 4yearold stuff, vet says this is usually an injury seen in 4star eventers/racehorses.
So anyone with horse that has had this type of injury or know of any miracle cures please!!
