Extra Forage

Can anyone offer any suggestions for increasing the amount of hay/forage my mare is eating? She is four weeks into her treatment for Cushings (she has just had her second blood test). The vet suggested she has more forage but she will only eat about 5kg a night. I have tried her with hi-fi senior but she is not keen on that. She has always been a bit of a fussy eater and has never been one for finishing her hay up so her behaviour is normal, teeth have been checked etc. She is on Alfa a oil Outshine lo-cal and speedi beet but still looks a bit thin thanks

Haylage (might be easier for her to eat), Graze-on/Readigrass, Our oldie loves either of them and would eat buckets full every night if we let her.

Speedibeet is great for helping with weight, plus it is low sugar and high fibre, along with some linseed it should do the trick. Fast fibre is also easy to eat and will help to increase the fibre intake.
