Can anyone recommend any extra large haylage (small hole) haynets? Its so hard to tell online how big they are. I just want big enough nets that 1 net will do a 17.1hh the whole night rather than having to fill 2.

I use the red and black nets, absolutely massive and if you fill it you will need to be strong to lift it. I think they are made by Shires approx £14/15.

I just got some amazing ones that i ordered in from Norvite, They are StableKit, and huge! Think they still have some in stock!

Ditto the Shires Red and Black, managed to get them for a tenner at my local tack shop to replace one that had lasted about 4 years.

Another shires red and black user here. They are massive. I once read a thread here where someone was giving out to another saying they werent feeding their horse enough hay, that a stabled horse would require up to 5 haynets a night. An elephant wouldn't eat 5 of these things

I got some nets from a local person that will fit a 3-foot round bale in them...that's possibly a little too big for your needs, but if you're interested, could put you in touch.

I haven't bought one yet, but I have seen recommendations on here for Martsnets on Facebook - you can get the net made up to your spec - size of mesh, colour, size etc.
