Extremely distressing video. Do not watch if you are easily upset.

I know that isn't nice (only watched the first 20 secs). But unfortunately i would hazard a guess that it goes on behind lots more closed doors than we would imagine.

Still horrid though. But not all the superbly well trained 4 year olds out there can all have been brought on nicely surely?

good to see something like these being openly criticised and shamed in the media at large.
 
What a shame that beautiful horse didn't a) kick her in the head or b) flip over onto her when it reared( later on when being ridden).
That really shows how some horses tolerate the revolting things humans do in the name of sport!
I think that f*****g woman shows how to completly ruin a horse!
30 lashes on the arse would be too good for her I could think of some really nasty things she would be more deserving of!

if i sent my horse to a trainer and they DARED do that i would be seriously raging-i dotn know if i would be able to control myself.

if i were the horse i would be doing ANYTHING to get her-roll on her or whatever.
the horse must a an f'ing saint not to be aggressive and unridable.

She should take the place of a donkey in a hot country, so she can be sat on by lots of fat tourists.

What an odd woman! The general gist is that the reporter and the 'experts' think it is wrong and cruel and don't understand why she would feel the need to do that, and that the horse won't understand, the circle is too small etc etc..
On the plus side the video got her convicted of animal cruelty in Germany in 2007 and she isn't allowed to play ponies in Germany anymore....down side, she's gone to Denmark instead to carry on and thinks it is the correct way to handle/train a horse hence people are not too happy.
Seems to be quite a well known story over there...
 
I wish it had turned on her. Not actually surprised at all by it though tbh.

THAT is one reason why I hate draw reins, tight side reins etc... they take away the horse's flight/fight instinct imho. poor poor horse. vile woman. i wish they'd name and shame her.
