...the Ballerina Mare is white! :o :o :D
She wasn't impressed at 3 shampoo cycles and 3 rinse cycles, but do you think she's clean enough to go dressaging now (compare with photos in siggy...)?

Providing she endured a spin cycle at the end to dry her, you should be ok. Turning out a freshly clean grey horse is terrifying (even with a rug on!). She looks lovely, and good luck for the stressage.

Britestar, when does it not rain in this country? I've quite given up...

Faracat, we did two rounds of "Dirty Beastie" and one round of "Diamond White" all over, including tail. Having posted on here before about washing greys, and having noted that shampoos for grey horses are far more expensive than shampoos for white cows, even though they appear to have pretty much the same composition, I was rather suspicious (so far, I've generally used Sainsbury's own-brand Basics). However, my instructor (who was working part time at a horsey shop) assured me that this one was extra-concentrated, so I would get more bang for the buck. She appears to have been right! :D I'm seriously impressed with how she turned out. Even though she immediately pooed down her legs again.

Stroppy Mare, she had to stay in her stall for an hour with a waffle rug on. Then she was dry!

Mines on schooling livery at the moment and is not only clean, but has silky feathers/mane/tail. He looks fab! i am dreading him coming home and going back to the grubby, slightly smelly cob I know and love  I love the new clean Frankie but I am far to lazy to look after him the way they do at bootcamp! Yours is persil white!

Woo, that IS white! Bet she hates it.......

I'm pretty sure she's rolled by now! She's been getting wee bumps from bitey things (one assumes), so it was a good chance to check out what's going on there. She's getting fly spray when the others are being left to their own devices...but she has a sarcoid, and her brother has very sensitive skin, so a few precautions only make sense.

FrankieCob and Spreebok, I'm particularly impressed with how the tail came out. It's still a bit yellowy, but I wasn't expecting it to work this well! :)

Alas, Britestar was right: it rained, and she no longer looks like a Persil advert! :D She's still a lot cleaner than she was before, though! The dressaging is a wee ways off, but I figured that a good bath now will make the intervention that will need to happen then less laborious! :D

She looks fab! A truly 'white' grey always looks amazing. ....but so glad mine aren't (purely from a dirt point of view lol!)

Sadly I am pretty sure that will not be the case! As the keeper of a mainly white piebald.......
<<<<<<<<< dirt bag of a pony I can say that the 3 wash cycle usually lasts one evening and it is usually necessary to bath again before the show and then to clean again before going in. Last couple of shows I have taken my mostly retired bay horse for an outing, it is a joy to take a horse that a) shines when you finish and B) you don't die of exhaustion before you even get to the show!! ;)

And boy did it rain in the afternoon! I'm gueesing you got the same storm in Abz as we did further north.
