or anyone that want to travel here! Do any of you fancy an hho xc schooling trip to SL or pontispool? I wanna take the baby (god help me) but have no-one on the yard remotely interested in xc anymore (or jumping anything above a foot really!) and its no blooming fun on your own

but may be going with the others at the yard, but not till next month as our jumping is a shambles at the mo. ( having a problem with fillers)

no, im in weston, just work at janes, if i can arange for the others at the yard to go some point next month then i will let you know coz the more horses that go to SL the cheaper it is i think.

yes yes yes I will always come, pone now back jumping so just has to be suggested- love it! Just thought it was funny cos I haven't been for ages. (your not going to get him with a pulling comb though are you?)

fihunt has to come so I don't feel too small! don't want to give frank a complex though he does like playing with the big boys.

shame he refuses to start a xc course on his own, perhaps could use you all to be a pretend warm up ring then give it a try!
 
I'll be there (transport permitting!) jumping baby jumps cos I'm a wuss! Genie loves cross country but is green doing it. I'll keep temsik away from your pony's already short mane!

nah you'll be fine, kick on!

we are no great shakes (I love it when doing it but trouble is they don't fall down) Frank is great lead pone for little ditches etc, will trot through on any angle (has done these things a lot for mum's) and would love to meet genie. I wouldn't use her as a barrier between temsik and frank though she might start on genie instead!lol
 
Ooh a lead for ditches would be good! Genie will do them, but it invoves clearing them by at least 3ft to avoid the scary scary troll/monster/horse eating dirt. We will have to figure out a plan to keep temsik away from our coblets' manes!!!!

He does have his uses. I couldn't count the number of times he has popped back and forwards over the bigger water filled ditch at pontispool (mums still has never followed on that one yet!) He doesn't really believe in putting in more effort than necessary but is a good egg, first time I went up a bank I had no idea how to approach it, trotted, frank stopped had a look and then went up one leg at a time I have it on video its hilarious. Silly sod won't leave his girlfriend to do a round though.
 
I just thought I would contribute seeing as I am 'in the area' but I have no horse so absolutely no use whatsoever! Hahaha!

Good luck though and if you would like a photographer I can take photos? I am going back to Dorset for summer job though soon... Hmmm...

what happens if you mix a taser and a water pistol ------ maybe not such a good idea and perhaps slight over reaction. Think will just use one or t'other don't want to be that mean to temsik.
 
Awwww silly Frank! Genie will give most things a go once she's had a look, it's the stopping her from putting in a dirty run out and remembering to sit up! I DETEST riding downhill and jumping downhill so that's where I close my eyes and hope!

A taser may just about do the job... although I intially read that as 'laser' and had a vision of Doctor Evil on Genie doing the hand thing!

shouldn't have provided him with a blonde girlfriend really. Hoping that I might be able to take him on my own to one when I have my test. TBH haven't tried for a couple of years now. Can we take a picnic for afters?
 
You could count me in if I had a sound horse....but sadly I don't! But if its a day I'm not working I might join Kat-Bath in taking some snaps!
 
4legged furries, personally think jumping is far more important than weddings anyway, any chance of you sneaking out? We won't tell.
