f***ing fireworks

once again i have had to leave my home late in the evening and take my dogs to my boyfriends house while he sits at the field and babysits four terrified horses all because some a**h*le thinks you cant have a party without letting of the biggest LOUDEST fireworks they can leagally get their hands on,this is the second time in a month, i expect this in november but this is really p***ing me off,and if you complain you are a killjoy,lets all join together and p**s on their fireworks.BAN THE FIREWORKS.

I feel your angst my mare was due to foal and our neighbourhood decided to let off what I can only describe as mini bombs...if I had known where they were comig from I'd have had a word...but they are not illegal

so if you know where they are being let off maybe have a word and ask for them to call you (so you can be prepared) if they are partying....but tbh my old mare loves watching a firework display and gets more agitated if she cant see whats going on

My ex used to have really annoying firework-loving neighbours, he used to go and stand at their driveway and leesh off a shot from his twelve bore into the air, each time they let of a firework. Soon did the trick.....

Well as you have said you were with them...how did they react?? were the horses bothered?? some don't seem to be mithered

either that or stable them on firework nights either stay up with them or just have a radio playing depends really on there reaction...

think they are better off being able to move around . all our grazing is split into three differant places stables are nearly three miles away,not ideal i know but beggers cant be choosers. its not just the horses the dogs are nervous wrecks as well.

While everyone is moaning about pollution from cars and air qaulity, powers that be need to look at noise and light pollution, whether you have pets and horses or not, noisy fireworks piss me off, especially after I have gone to bed, it's like arseholes with crap music blaring out from their overly noisy exausted cars with the bloody windows wide open passing the house ect, I DONT WANT TO FEKIN HEAR IT, tstink tshtink tshtink tshtink tshtink VROOM VROOM VROOM VEROOM, bloody morons think we want to hear it as well

I feel your pain. Spain during Fiesta! season.... BOOOM......BOOOM.......BOOM all day and all night. We live 5km from an army firing range and they are bl00dy quieter than the fiestas.

Poor old FB used to go hysterical in the south with the ones that are actually light-up-the sky fireworks but he doesn't seem to mind being mortared on a regular basis.
