Sorry just had to post this - any of you who have horses with bruises, abscesses etc that require poulticing, protecting etc etc, had to put a post about a product some people had recommended on this forum.
My horse has been lame for about three weeks with suspected bruising and whilst I am a great fan of the nappies and gaffa tape concept, it will not stay on in this weather. Last week there was a post on here about a protective boot called the Hoofeeze boot, so I ordered one to see if it was any good... Oh my goodness its fantastic! It is sooooo easy to put on compaired to the Equiboot, just pull it on and it secures with velcro straps. Don't wish to sould like an advert but seriously has made my life sooo much easier and my boy can go out instead of being on box rest. Am saving a fortune on nappies and tape and it's really well made.
Sorry to waffle on but really am impressedand thought it may help others too!
