Fab lesson last night - my pony can jump!!

Self indulgent post really! I had the best lesson last night, it was a jumping lesson which I was a little apprehensive about as I was under the impression that my boy didn't jump. He used to be a carriage horse so his previous owners told me that rather than jumping things, he had the habit of bulldozing them over! Even though I've had him nearly a year, I hadn't attempted to jump him as I'm still fairly novicey and didn't have the confidence.

Anyway, he was such a good boy and we jumped four jumps and cleared 3 of them!! I am so impressed with him as he tries so hard for me.

Just goes to show that you can't underestimate your equine friends!!

a big well done, I know how you feel - have a green horse that either squeals when jumps are put up or refuses all of them. ??
