After a tense schooling session the other day had a fab lesson today. He was fighting a lot to begin with but having had a lesson to get my position better he is just fighting with himself and it's easier for him to just drop his head.

This is the raw video but is a bit long and boring:

CC as always please, I know the canter still needs loads of work as he puts his head up to balance himself.

Slightly more interesting video with just the best bits:

I think there is a huge improvement from Tuesday and he was really using himself well today. :)

ETA: He's working too deep to build up his back I know its not correct but atm it's what is working for him.

You got some realy nice work from him there and he looks fab when he goes properly. Keep up the good work and can you ask the camera lady (I'm guessing its your mum) to stand nearer your instructor next time so I can hear her better please :p :D

Looks great, well done! I really enjoy watching your videos and seeing the improvement, makes me feel like me and my boy may have a chance of being a real partnership yet :D

You've inspired me here, can't wait to get our lessons started... just have to find an instructor!

Thankyou Ilovefoals, Booboos and NiknKia :)

Thank you, some really kind words. :) Best of luck with your boy.

Lovely boy as always. Starting to looking more mature in his action and mentality - well done to you :)

It's about bloody tie he acts more mature he's 13 next month! :p Maybe he's having a mid-life crisis so has decided to behave. :)

Will tell my mum to stand closer to her next time. :D

Thank you. :)

Probably won't give polocrosse a go again until next year as I'm hoping he'll be a bit more trusting in me by then and hopefully he'll know the ball won't eat him.
