Waffled a lot!
I've recently changed the dogs back to our old vet, after previously moving them to the one that does the horses (thinking it would be easier having them all on one vets books).
This weekend he came to our house to do the annual check and injections, spent half an hour checking them over and charged us £50 for two big labs. The last vets charged £60 when I took them to them! He has also been to the house to check a dog post operation and wouldn't take a penny for it (but got two bottles of wine thrust at him!). He is also a very experienced and talented vet, who put one of the cats back together when he was hit by a car and broken up like Humpty Dumpty! Even all that operating and aftercare only cost about £300. I wish there were more vets like him around.
I have only one major criticism of him - why the heck can't he do horses!
