Sadly couldn't get this this year, but really liked his stamp and also being a smaller stallion. Can people let me know what he was like. I know he is young and green, but overall impression (movement, jump) and temperament. Also can't find much info on his sire For Pleasure and his progeny. So any info on him would be great too.

Thanks.

He is a cracking young horse and a real pocket rocket. For Pleasure is a legend in himself having won I believe something like 3 MILLION in prize money as well as being a 2 time Olympic Gold Medallist!!

Fabrice himself seems absolutely adorable in and out of the stable. He is only rising 4 and prior to the showcase had only been to 2 clear round shows locally and didn't bat an eyelid in all the atmosphere. Lovely ,ovement and soft contact and a spectacular jump. I know a friend is using him on her Lauriston mare now this year as fell in love with him.

As breeding goes I don't think Fabrice could be more exciting being For Pleasure x Diamant de Semilly x Darco and I know i have him lined up for my Balougran Z mare but as she is young I will wait on him to be more proven as well.

Here is info on For Pleasure - http://www.superiorequinesires.com/stallions/for_pleasure.shtml

there are much better photos of him on the SSGB site than the one shown above when he was a furry youngster too. I have been really impressed by how much he has matured in the past year and he is in just the right hands to go a long way as a competitive youngster too. Definitely one to put on my list after using Don VHP this year.

He impressed everyone at SSGB; "pocket rocket" is about right! He's matured a lot in a year, and has an outstanding jumping technique and style. Definitely one who looks like he's going to have a big success in the future.

Thanks everyone. It is always nice to hear opinions on him, from those that have seen him in the flesh. Sounds like one to keep an eye on. From what you have seen would you put him to a sharper, buzzier mare or not? *slaps wrists* must not think of putting mare in foal again.

Interesting he's small with lines like that, could be he has the genes for bigger but didn't grow due to one reason or another. Like Flipper d'Elle it could be that just because he himself is small his offspring won't necessarily be so.

This is probably useless info but I have a little mare, only just 15.2hh who is by a stallion who's sire is for pleasure she's out if a mare by jasper. She has the temp of a Labrador! Is just lovely, only just 4 so don't know if she is talented as such but she is the sweetest horse I have ever met :) Xx
