Fabulous day for ex racers @ Vale View-show report+pics:

Well done! :)

There are criteria for the sunshine tour, ring the BD office. You have to have a few sheets above a certain score at the relevant level, but I think you'd have that sorted easily! :) :) :). It does cost an arm and a leg though., but it is something I'd love to do. :D:D

Yes, you have to ring BD and supply certian sheets for the level you want to compete at- good luck with it :) Its something i would love to do aswell but as im never going to win the lottery its never going to happen!

Well done on your tests, hes looking great

i thought it was something like that, will do some investigation, so i know what we need to do, and see what we come up with.
hoping that OH might like to contribute towards the arm and a leg part lol!!!

yes L & Edward, was a super test, i had a real lump in my throat watching. told her to think about some elems later in summer, he's well ready now as schooling at medium sweetly.

thank you everyone, still on cloud 9 today xxx

what a fab day & respect to L & Edward too
wished i'd known you were both there [ as Ms R currently broken - would have come & been your dead sheep groupie:D]

massive snort.....imagining you waving a dead sheep as a pom pom!!!!

will let you know next time im there, prob end of June/beg July now as June is a bit quiet show wise.....is miss R looking any better?xxxx

AMAZING!!! Can't believe just what a massive super star CS is turning it to!!
I've been dressage pony shopping with a friend recently, who as nice a girl as she is, TB's are not her fav horses. She was going on about how a TB has never gone above AM and how she would never want one. Fair enough I suppose (even though she knows I have a TB), she ended up buying a stunning warmblood mare who really suits her. However shes just an example of how weird people can be about TB's, when you write your PSG and Sunshine tour reports im sending my friend the link lol.
CS rocks!! And so do you because it's all your work. I'm SO happy for you :D :D :D

Oh I just looked at your pics again and I actually have a tear in my eye. He just looks SO beautiful.
You're inspiring me to do a bit more dressage with J now. We got 69% last time out, first test we have done for months, just prelim but I only had one lesson before and I put 0 effort and J just did it.
So what we could do with a bit more effort I don't know! Wish I lived near you and could have lessons! :)

Fab, what more can you ask for, well done :) Nothing wrong with aiming high.

Just wondered what the "snuff" is? Reason for asking is I'm just starting to get my young TB out competing and she can be quite tense in the warm up. On no calmer as she's chilled as at home, and it's a minefield reading on all the instant/calm products, hence wondered what you use as it sounds good. Thanks :)

its the equine america super Kalm, which works so much better than the so kalm, you might have to hunt around and buy it online but it relaly is worth it :)

firewell-thank you, i nearly cried several times yesterday, he is such a special boy and just a lovely person to have around the yard.

i think iv found AM85 in July, so ill let you know how it goes and you can tell your friend!

Bit late for her, I guess, but you can tell her she's wrong. ;) In my personal experience I know one at GP and a couple at PSG and that's only horses I know so I'm guessing there are more out there. My old event horse did Third Level - as his fourth job, after racing, eventing, and sjing - and no one EVER guessed he was TB so I'm sure there are some out there incognito, too. :)

He's looking super PS - you should be (and I'm sure you are) very proud of the work you've done.

Well my TB Henry (if he had ever behaved!) would certainly have had enough talent to get reasonably far up the levels... so it can be done.

Sadly he lacked the right attitude. And my riding's cr*p!

QR Superb results, very well done :) Couldn't look at pics but you two always look super-stylish... Sunshine Tour always looks great fun in all three disciplines (although it rained continuously on the eventers' version last year :o ) and I think is pretty easy to get on as the organisers want as big an international entry as possible, you just have to prove to BD you aren't going to disgrace them, which should be easy enough for you ;) I've always wanted to go but it's difficult to find the money and the time - by the time you've got down there and back it's quite a protracted trip! Good aim to have, anyway...
