Driving up to the yard this afternoon on a road used as a rat-run between school out and going home from work time: riding towards me, approaching a couple of nasty blind bends is a girl with no hi-vis with her reins loose over the horse's neck (not held at all) as she's texting with both hands...

I know someone exactly like that - you're not in Cheshire by any chance are you?

I rode out with her when I first got my neddy - the one and only time I ever hacked out with her. Texting and yapping on her mobile instead of concentrating on anything that was remotely important!! And when she did put her phone away she just hooned around at a canter. It didn't matter tho, if her horse broke the poor thing was sold on and Mummy & Daddy bought her another one that she couldn't handle...................
