Facebook Equine related, advice needed

just sold my old albion saddle through a page on facebook put quite a few pictures on shown that it needs a stich in pommel, lady has very paid though paypal very quickly i have arranged for courier to collect and deliver have enclosed a recipect

what happens if she recieves it and its not what she is expecting? i have been very honest in my ad saying its well used etc now i am really nervous she may want to send it back? but i have sold it as seen and only through facebook not ebay so would there be issues arising ?

any advice gratefully recieved

Did she pay for goods through Paypal? If she did then she can open a SNAD in Paypal, she has 45 days to do this. This gives her full buyer protection. Please say you have signed for on the delivery otherwise she could claim INR, whereby she could get saddle and her money back.

Whats INR & SNAD? :-( its going by courier who will sign a proOF of postage reciept.
 
INR is item not received, Snad is significantly not as described. You need proof of delivery, online trackable for Paypal once over a certain amount, otherwise buyer claims inr and theres nothing you can do. Snad - buyer has up to 45 days to claim not as described, if they open a case in pp they will have to return tracked at their expense for a refund. It really does depend on wether they paid as goods or gift x

Significantly not as described and item not received.

As you sent via courier INR won't apply.

She will have to prove to Paypal that it is not as-described, so make sure you keep your photos and if possible have a copy of the advert.

SNAD - sold not as described

When accepting paypal for any items sold you absolutely MUST send by a tracked delivery service. Otherwise buyer could claim item hasn't arrived and you have no proof you sent it. A proof of posting is not enough and Paypal will automatically decide in favour of buyer and refund them. If they are lying they could end up with both saddle and money.

If buyer receives it and doesn't like it for whatever reason they can send it back to you for a refund. If you deny a refund they can open a claim in Paypal for an item not described properly. PayPal often find in respect of the buyer too on this case.

Always take a photo of the item in its box before you close it. Common problem is buyer claims there is a problem, maybe a split in the saddle or something, you provide photos but buyer claims it happened in transit. PayPal often finds for the buyer.
 
INR will apply if there is no online viewable tracking update. You can have a letter from the Queen and it will make no difference. If the buyer has paid by goods Pp will tell them to return tracked regardless....eBay is definitely all in favour of the buyer now. Although if buyer has paid as a gift then none of this applies.
