I know the video is awful, and the horse was treated badly. It was horrible to see. However I think that this page and whoever is responsible for it is just as bad.

How? The woman needs to pay for what she has done - it's not acceptable and not something which should just be forgotten about.

I don't agree with what they did to that horse, but then I also don't agree with a witch hunt, I think things are being taken too far. Who ever made they page is most likely going to end up in alot of trouble with police , you can't go around doing things like that, even if what they did was bang out if order.

I agree it wasn't acceptable and shouldn't be forgotten about but wasn't it a man riding the horse!? I don't think that page is acceptable either. It should be dealt with through the courts IMO.

No, I'm not a big fan of FB witch hunts. The video was bad, but this doesn't make it better. While I do think people should be made aware of unscrupulous businesses and traders, I don't think this is the way - not sure what is, but this has just got personal and that page left a sour taste in my mouth :(

I really think people need to step back and let things take their course now. It won't make any difference now what people say or do. Patience is a virtue! ;)

Don't agree with said page, hence why I haven't liked it. But don't disagree with it either...

She's trying to dig herself a hole mind, what with the snide comment and all...

Apparently RSPCA etc are not taking action and they're up and running again with a website etc. IMO I don't think they should be dealing or even own horses after everything that's happened

Will definitely be interesting to see where it goes though!

...According to the website they aren't taking action. Do you believe that?

nothing will happen she has been doing alot worse things for many years ,,,
and will continue for many to come .....
the law is an ass :{

Despite the fact I absolutely despise what I've seen from the dealer and said person over the past few days (and previously), I don't agree with the page. Fair enough she/they deserve it, but its now a bit of a bitchy witch hunt that could potentially come back to bite the creator/posters in the behind. Said person (I don't know if we can name?) will use whatever she can to get back from where she is and defend her position, using comments, pages etc that could be seen as bullying/victimising (We've already seen evidence of this on her website). The internet has already done what it can, the horse in the video is safe back home and the issue has been alerted to the relevant people, so hopefully this can now be pursued properly and the right people punished.

The trouble with pages like this Facebook one is they just become a huge hate-fest and end up making the person they're about a victim.

There's someone on there wanting "capital punishment" for the woman  and ending up telling her to "play on the M6 you p***y b**ch."

Unacceptable, IMO. Okay, point out the cruelty in the video, and stick to the facts, but this could end up being seen as bullying.

Reading further down, the lady is an unsavoury character who has already been in trouble with the law for stealing 30k worth of tack with her mum !!

Also alledgedly trading standards are investigating her business after numerous complaints regarding mis advertised horses!

Sounds very dodgy!

Yeah I agree with FionaM, it really winds me up when people comment on links about animal abuse with hateful violence related comments, I just think how can you expect to be taken seriously and take the moral high ground when you make disgusting comments like that?!

Things like this should not be ignored, but they should be dealt with properly by the law, and if that is lacking which it usually is when it comes to animals, I wish they'd find some people with an ounce of self discipline and some common sense to front the campaigns.

The video was horrible. But I think justice has already been served. Through the power of social media almost every horsey person I know now knows this ladies name, face and what she does. She has already lost that particular horse and no doubt her business. Anyone who thinks about buying a horse from her who googles her will see the evidence. It's permanent too - it will be cached in search engines forever.

I don't agree with the video, or the facebook page... I agree with Fiona... People are just being silly and abusive now.

But I had a read of the comments she left and she tried to jsutify it by saying you had to beat the horse before it got 'slow and stuffy' and then bucked the rider of... The poor horse doesn't actually buck properly in the video, he's more humping, the only proper buck he puts him is the one that gets the rider off!!

I really do not think, that until this woman is either in prison or has been banned from keeping horses, justice has been served.

Realistically, she's not likely to be banned from keeping horses, surely. Her "methods" may be repulsive but possibly not illegal. Certainly not enough to put her in prison.

However as said above, just Google her name and business, nothing good comes up. It is to be hoped that she ceases to trade as a result of her dreadful reputation.

Even if we don't think it's right that she continues to keep horses, I don't think "trial by Facebook" is the answer.

I agree.

She'll struggle to stay in business now
