just heard this morning that coster ridden by christian ahlmann has failed a drugs test and ahlmann has been suspended. the drug found was capsaicin from a cream that helps blood flow

i should think the latter, as you say its very common stuff and the germans have been uber careful recently. they wouldnt have wanted another debacle like at the last games.
it only increases blood flow to a very local area i think i.e. you might rub it on a bruise or sore muscle to assist healing. like using ice.

Apparently FOUR horses have failed drugs tests and been disqualified from tonight's individual - according to BBC website!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
