Failed vetting - now what?!

I think the vet did his job. Horse was lame, so is going to fail vetting.

Now you can get your own vet up to look at the horse and go from there.

being 1/10ths lame i would not be concerned about !!

Micah who I lost last wk started off 1/10th lame on a hind, then he would only be 1/10th lame if I kept him in his stable.

He had suspensory damage which didn't resolve even after surgery!!
 
Of course 1/10 lame can be significant and it would be a poor vet who didn't at least flag it up! Lame in a straight line prior to flexion IS a problem.
And clients are paying for the vet to be picky.
Also, horses are meant to be stabled at least overnight prior to vetting to pick up on stiffness - as this can be a sign of arthritis.
