Or stupid idea, A couple of months ago i had sombody who was very interested in buying my grey arab/NF mare, but he needed to sell one or two of his first as didnt have room, i hav'nt advitised her this was just word of mouth through a mutual friend. Now i am thinking of offering her to him for a considerable reduction in price if he were to break my gelding for me. He is well known in my area and has a very good reputation so i know he would do a good job. and it would be one less job for me as we are very busy at the momment. So...... what do you think?

Having been bitten by this situation before as in "if you break George you can have Sparky in exchange" type deal, please be very careful and get it all in writing about what standard you want your horse to be at before they can say they've done the job and do keep the horse you're thinking of exchanging at home until the breaking in job has been done to your satisfaction; that was my big mistake but otherwise it's a great idea.
