He's nice. How big will he make?

I was just going to ask that. If he's going to make a good size then i think the price is ok.

I think you need to change the picture. You said he was show material, brush him up, oil his hooves and get someone to sit on him in show gear. JMO. I know we shouldn't judge a horse by it's looks, but come on we all do. If i was looking for another horse, and saw a muddy horse or a shiny groomed up horse with someone riding her, showing her off a little, I would scroll straight past the muddy one and go for the prettier one.

You can always bring the price down if you don't get much interest but you can't really put it up so best to play safe!

I definately wouldn't put anyone on him.

If I saw a 15month old for sale with a picture of someone riding, that back button would be clicked as quick as possible.

Maisy, do what I do with shoes, just buy him and pretend you've always had him

If he's being sold as 'show quality' you need to play the game and get him looking like he could walk into a ring - yeah, decent people should be able to see from the raw material, but the easier you make it for them to see what he can look like, the more people you'll get looking at the ad,

No fence, no field. Stood, in hand on level ground.

I would second this, and add that if you must have a fence in the photo, it really shouldn't be a barbed wire fence!!! (Sorry but barbed wire anywhere near horses is a bit of a pet hate of mine!)

price and wording are fine, but i'm going to be brutally honest here, the pics are terrible, shouts "pikey" to me (and i know you are not!!!) please, please, bath him tidy him up and get him stood properly on a good level surface......personal hate of mine is for sale ads with pics of horses grazing -why??? i know it can eat, i want to see it stood nicely and a movement shot as well if possible...sorry if that's not what you want to read..

......I reckon the kids might give it away.......and hiding £50 for a pair of shoes is easy enough; hiding a grand for a horse is not *quite* as easy!!

I agree about the pics..

Give him a clean up, maybe pull his mane or atleast brush it all to one side, i would also shorten his feathers a bit if he lets you as i always like to see the legs under the feathers if im looking to buy and oil his feet and a pic of his face straight on, pic of all of him from the side standing on level ground, one of him being trotted up from the other side(to show markings on both sides)
