Fair Weather Riders

We live North Scotland and at the moment don't have the luxury of an indoor school...... so I have to ride whatever the bloody weather - has made the process of backing my 3 yr old very slow though as it's hard for her to stay sensible when there's lots of wind to make her silly!
 
I will, and have always, ridden in whatever weather. In fact, out hacking, I like the sound of a horse's hooves on wet tarmac!

I think it is beneficial to teach your horse to work in all weathers if you compete - Otherwise you could end up with a horse having a fit in the dressage arena because it started raining?!
