Hey Peeps.

Just wondering for those that have had my issue.

I have a fairfax saddle for my horse and recently its started to make the numnah slip back.I have had its since April.

Its very hard to explain but the front of the numanhs will slep back as far as it can until the straps of the numnah are to the end of holding it. It looks all creased up.

Its very annoying, I am getting a tad worried that the saddle might not be fitting my horse, as that is the last thing I ant.

The flocking from when you bought it and now will be totally different as it will have bedded down. Your saddler should have come out and checked and re-done the flocking after a couple of months of you having the saddle, its all part of buying a new one.

My saddles are checked every 3 months and the flocking is always adjusted each time.

This happens to me in my dressage saddle (NOT Fairfax) with certain numnahs.

I suspect you may have washed your numnah to the point it is much softer than it was?
Or it is soiled? Or the wrong shape for the saddle.

I usually find this is a numnah problem, not a saddle problem.

Ditto Tempi, especially with brand new saddles you will need a reflock in approx 3 months after purchase, all new saddles I have purchased have included this as part of the deal.

I have this problem. I have a Kent & masters S Series dressage saddle and all the numnahs slip. I have never had this problem with any other saddle before and it makes me not like my saddle very much. I have to have straps to the d rings and an anti slip one too, seems to keep it in place but am thinking about changing the saddle.
