Over exercise.
I constantly worry about this-how much is too much? We have three 20-40 min walks a day, two mostly off lead on grass/earth tracks and one mostly on lead which is a mix of pavement and grass. We do fewer at the weekend but slightly longer walks plus he gets more garden/outside time. We do bits of training on all walks. I get that pavement and too much jumping is not good but am I doing too much? If we have one longer one, I cut down on the rest or if we have a faster one, I then do a training only one etc. We dont have any issues with him, he crashes out about 8.30pm, goes out for one last set of ablutions at 10pm and then sleeps through to 6.30am.
We started scent work last night
he was so good, beside himself with excitement to begin with (stems from puppy class which we canned after the third week as I decided 25 min free for alls were not helpful) but remembered all his commands-and learned a new one. Tired pup at the end and we have lots of homework (tracking class starts in November). He was the youngest there and he's such a trier
he's also a watcher, watches everyone very intently.
And his latest friend is-a Bracco Italiano! What a lovely dog-thought she was gorgeous!
