ok, so dug out a grazing muzzle from last year, it seems to fit the connie well. Now he did a few snorts in it and was not amused but no heavy breathing etc.
So I need to know how tight should it fit as I am concerned about it being too loose and blocking his nose? He's out at the moment with it on and seemed ok although less than amused. It's a shire's bucket type one. I wondered about cutting some of te fabric off around his nose so I could clearly see his nostrils..
Anyone any suggestions?
I could go and take it off but surely they're designed not to inhibit breathing?

are you talking about the nylon muzzle or a plastic one? My pony wears a nylon shires 24/7 and he is fine.

nylon. thanks, just worried in case he can't breath! It fits without any bother, I just worried that the holes aren't big enough. But I'm just being silly, thanks!

yes...have just looked out and he is guzzling as much as he can through it, so it stayed on and obviously hasn't killed him,

thanks
