You see a lot of fake Pessoas on ebay for a fraction of the cost of a real one are they any good? To be honest I have borrowed two genuine pessoas now and they do look a bit homemade from yachting supplies so are they really worth the money?

Ive got 2 fake ones. 1 is fitted for a pony and the other for a horse. I find it easier to just leave them on the roller to save faffing about. They are brilliant. I got my second one from ebay. They are £19.99 dunno how to put a link on but they are listed as Rope and pulley training aid liquidation sale RRP £69. arrived really quickly and works a treat.

Oooo! I want one of those from Decathlon for madam, looks just like a proper one! It's on the Christmas list

I have used one of the cheaper ones which does not have the rope and pully system, and instead had a flat rope/braid which would slide through hoops (sorry, not expaining very well). It did work, but I wouldn't buy one as i'm not convinced that it moves as easily as the rope and pulley ones and was worried that it wwasn't doing the best job that it could.

The ones on ebay are the proper rope and pulley system. Completely the same as my friends Passoa that cost her an arm and a leg! Different colour rope thats all! She was a bit cheesed when I told her how much mine cost!

I really rate the stuff from decathlon... all their stuff for horse & rider is all very good quality, just not one of the big names so not extortionally priced! There is nothing special there but good for everyday stuff!

Sorry gone a bit off track then

I didnt know you could get decathlon over here woooo! My Dad lives over in France and always brings me some bits from there when he visits me. usually put in an order! Do they have any shops here yet? Or is it just mail order?

I think there are quite a few stores in this country, whether there is one near you that may be a different story, my closest one is a 45 minute drive away but luckily its in a massive shopping centre

On their home page you can do a store locator to see if there is one near you!

Fingers crossed!!

I love Decathlon too!!! My Mum is French and ever since i was a kid, trip to visit family meant trip to Decathlon!! They would always leave it til the last day of the trip to bribe me to be good......come to think of it i'm 27 and i think Mum still does that when i go and visit her as she lives there now! They have 2 massive ones up the road from where she lives, their stuff si so reasonable and i think really good quality.
