fal pro warrior rug sizing

looking to get a 40g classic neck fal pro rug but just wanted to check sizes with you guys.

my pony is a chunky (idxtb) 14.2hh. i brought last year a rambo duo (whic is fab by the way

) in a 5'9 which fitted fine till i added the hood (which is slightly tight but ok) but the hood pulls the rug and exposes a bit of her bum

its fine tho as tail flap but i think cld be a little longer to give a bit more protection so really i think that a 6ft wld have been more suitable but cld have been too big round the shoulders.

annyhoooww.... how do fal pro rug sizes compare to rambo? as if they come up bigger i will get a 5'9 if they come up the same or slightly smaller i'll get a 6ft.

I've always found Fal rugs to be a little bit more generous on sizing.

I agree - I find them to be true to size where as I find the horseware rambos to be a bit narrow across the chest so the diagonal fastenings cause it to ride up and I have to go to a size bigger at least sometimes two sized. I also find the necks of the Fal rugs to be more generous so they don't pull up the back of the rug
