Never had a Fal rug before - please let me know your opinions!

I must be the only person to not like them. I bought the FAL sweetitch rug, it was very expensive, did not do what they said on the wrapper and it fell to pieces. It is the only rug my horse has damaged and been able to wriggle out of. I prefer horseware myself.

The only rugs on the market worth buying ( apart from the sweetitch rug) I have some which are over 10 years old and still look new. All my rugs are now FAL and I never have any rubs on my horses. They stay dry and warm whatever the weather and cope with the vigorous rolling in deep mud that my horse does on a daily basis. They fit well last forever.

Excellent, worth the extra money as they last forever. Particularly good for the large shouldered horse as they have plenty of room in them. Only rugs that don't rub my boy.

I have been told that recently Fal have changed manufacturer and that the quality now is not so good. So it might be worth asking for opinions from people who have brought them in the last year or two. Certainly, old Fals are great!

love them! to be honest, its worth looking on ebay as they go for years so i wouldnt hesitate about buying an older one! i just bought a slightly old fal warrior LW and its old but superb still! have also just won a fal pro goliath heavyweight which i think will be just as good qual - and a newer fal warrior came today so wil be able to compare quality etc.!

my fals are all brill. got rain sheets, LW MW and HW! some are over 12 years old now and wash and reproof and look like new. the cheaper fal bulldogs not so well cut or quality. the new fals dont seem as good. i THINK fal has been bought out by weatherbeeta but dont quote me on this!!
