i have just bought a 2nd 6ft hand fal godolphin(i think) stable rug for 30 quid- was this a good buy? its in good condition and has been cleaned. its for red, bf's horse.

Yep. I bought the godolphin about 8 years ago and its still going strong, ok I dont have much need to use it very often but it still looks brand new. Its really cosy and very deep so it covers them up really well. I definately paid about £80 for it back then so Id say £30 is a bargain

oh brill. i tried it on red, it covers nearly all of him its that deep! his 15hh and it also fits my 16.1 TB! its 300g tho so my horse will probably end up wearing it!

Yes that is a bargain. Those rugs go on for years - very well made and very hard wearing!
