Hi,

I'm sure I read somewhere that fal rugs are quite generous, my horse normally takes between a 6'3 & 6'6 , this would be with out a neck , what size should I go for ? .Currently I have a 6'6 weatherbeta , but tbh its a little roomy around his chest.
Any suggestions would be great.

Thanks

I bought a Fal bulldog from ebay for Murph. It is a 6" which he always wears but is a bit tight around the chest. He is quite chunky so would probably be okay on a TB type.

I don't think the FAL Slumberdown rugs are as generously cut as their normal ones. We use their Viking rugs and they are fab. Lots of ours are chunky monkeys and the FAL's fit a treat.

That's interesting. I got given a Slumberdown stable rug with zip on neck & it's about the best fit on the neck & shoulder I've ever had on my ID. I was thinking of getting a Fal next time I needed a turnout (thinking the cut would be the same but the quality better) but maybe I'll be better trying a Slumberdown one instead?
