Hi, just after some advice/opinions....
I've got the saddler coming back out for my tb in 2 weeks time as his current saddle isn't fitting too well. He currently has a GFS genesis apx adjustable saddle.

The med-wide gullet is too tight on his shoulder but gives clearance at his either and the wide is good on his shoulder but seems to sink at the gullet and have almost no clearance when ridden :( a riser pad at the front with the wide makes it really unstable at the back too.

I know saddlers are good, but I'm fairly convinced its going to be new saddle time and *ouch* for my bank account....

I've spied a falcon event saddle locally for sale 2nd hand which I think might do the job but wondered if any other tb owners or others had any opinions on shape or fit before I rush off and buy something that is likely not to fit!

Any experiences welcome and thanks in advance :)

Even with photos of your horse, the saddle and much more detail it would be hard to say if it would fit, not seeing the horse in the flesh means it is very hard to advise, even as an experienced fitter - TBs vary SO much, I have some fitted in our flat Native Pony saddles!

I know, I'm glad I'm not a saddler! Missed the saddle so will have to be patient and wait fo rthe saddler to come out, it'll be a lot of lunging and ground work till then!
