Falling on hard times - should the yard help you out?

I think it would depend on the relationship, and the position of the yo.
I personally wouldnt expect it, if this is their business and it pays their bills.

I would expect nothing as the YO relies on the income but would really appreciate,someone who was flexible so i.e let me go on grass livery or maybe work to pay off some livery, there is a big difference between a shortfall and a long term problem though. My YO helped me when I found a new horse before selling the old one as let me put new boy out on grass in the winter fields but suppose that was different as organised up front!
