Jack has himself booked in to a christmas show in two weeks, so as an excuse to get the decorations down early, it's time for him to get used to tinsel!

I'm thinking schooling around 'present' boxes and prehaps even jumping over a few?

Also, we have to go in fancy dress, so any ideas are welcome!

Hmm, well he's mostly white, so he could go as the bottom, and you as the top two balls of a snowman? So you wear a white top with padding, and white silk, carrot as a nose etc

i dressed my horse in tinsel for xmas shows before, and he never needed desensitising for that, I just tied it onto him (first time as a 5yo) he didn't care - ditto arena decorations.

I woudl do littel bits at a time, don't nancy around with it flapping it around, just lay it on and tie securely, I'm sure he won't react. I spent time desensitising my horse before getting on him in a wedding dress, he never minded the dress on him, but was bothered about me labouring to get on and off - so practise that bit :D

sounds like a plan, I'm not too worried about his reaction to wearing them, more so about stuff that's going to eat him on the ground, lol!

I'm liking the snowman idea ;)

Huh, wedding dresses and horses.. sounds like part of a dream to me!

Tries not to post a pic - *fails* :D

(Sorry, sure you're all sick of these! :D )

Thanks - I'm sure I will get banned for posting them all the time!

It was at Sledmere House near Driffield, lovely place, not a hard core wedding venue (only has about 10-15 a year) lovely people and great estate/scenery, and they didn't care about me bringing my horse! :D

Not the best pics of me, but the only ones where he isn't pulling a stupid face
