Fancy dress ideas please!

Hello everyone!

I am entering a local show next month and one of the classes is fancy dress! I have ever done anything like this before so need some ideas! So far I can only think of teddy bears picnic!

Can you guys give me ideas and share your pics please :D
 
Our RC speciaalises in fancy dress rides :D So over the years we have done quite a few! It helps to know the size and colour of the horse (the size and colour of the rider is pretty much unimportant)
Of the top of my head, you could get a piece of green material and sew or stick flowers on it and use it as a quater sheet and dress yourself as Mary Mary Quite Contrary, Turn horse/pony into a sheep nd be Bo-Peep. I have a very orange horse, so for one halloween ride she was the pumpkin and I was the stalk, the list is almost endless :)
 
We used to do bride and groom. You as the groom top hat and tails and pony as bride. My pony was very accommodating she would wear her veil over her face and tiara we made a rug out of white lace she had white lace ruffles round her legs. L plates on her bum. I used to carry a sign with "just married" and cans hanging from it.

just looked at the dates - i can't believe how long ago that was! It feels like yesterday. We lost him in 2006 :( You could do anything to him & he couldn't care less :) x

Add a white lab coat and stethoscope to the handler and you're good to go!


I've always wanted to do this! X-Ray horse!
 
A little girl at my yard won a fancy dress comp a few weeks ago. She and her pony dressed as hippy's... Afro, pink hair extensions for pony, face pait, massive glasses etc! Wish I was young enough to have fun like that...!
