We decided on "Christmas Jockey and Racehorse" for my in-hand fancy dress show on Sunday :)

Here's what I made today :) Sparkly 'blinkers' haha!

Very sparkly. What else will he be wearing?

I'm working on fancy dress for mine at the moment, show is Saturday and will be ponies first show outing.

You're so lucky. We have fancy dress-age on Sunday so made my highland a very cute set of Santa ears. This resulted in a lot of unseemly snorting, eye rolling and head chucking ... In short, he's having none if it. Can't get them anywhere near his head ... Normally the most laid back pony in the world, so he must have a problem and not prepared to push my luck on the day.

Now resorting to plan B ... Antlers !!! ... With bells on! ... Do you think he'll look silly with a red nose? I'll keep you posted! Have fun ...

Unicorn! I know not very original but POny is grey (white) now and main and tail snowy white (for two minutes when freshley washed). She wore a glittery horn, put silver strands through mane and tail and silver glitter spray on coat and hoofs, used white bridle home made!.... Child aged 7 wore all white and we put huge rigid wings stapped on her thighs so as pony trotted wings flapped slightly....and looked like attached to pony.....The pony was a little spooked for a minute or two at the wings but is pretty laid back so accepted them without much bother (one year she was a castle wearing a cardboard box so this was easy, box no good for jumping in but wings easy to get off) However when we went in the arena for the fancy dress the other 9 horses/ ponies went ballistic galloping around dumping riders, absolute carnage....Only our little Arab x Cob stood quietly in the middle completely unfazed by it all.
