Ok, riding club Halloween show is coming up, and I need fancy dress! I'm rubbish at ides so thought I'd ask you lot.

It MUST
-Be easy/cheap to make/get together
-Be possible to ride and jump in
-Be something Genie will let me wear near her!
-Be amazing!! (Of course!)

Many thanks, and cookies to anyone who suggests things!

hmmm im not very creative but....
a knight and horse? can be made into like an evil knight ahah
eeerrm like a witch but i horse instead of a broomstick

make you and genie very ghost-like

haha! as i sed im not very cretive but maybe you could get some inspiration! LOL

not original but a witch? green hair extensions inside your riding hat and tall hat over the top, all in black and maybe clip in some green extensions into ponio's tail?

turn Genie into a spider - black rug with an extra 4 legs made from tights and stuffed with something sewn on bottom edges so they swing around. I dressed my little pony up like this when I was about 13 and jumped a 2ft course. She didnt seem to mind the 'legs' flapping around but then she put up with a lot of things poor pony! ( I was dressed as Little Miss Muffet though so not sure what you could dress as ... maybe just a ghost in a sheet or skeleton costume or witch. Add a few green stands to her mane and tail etc.

A Headless Horseman! Build up your shoulders to hat level in an XXX-size t-shirt, making some holes to see out of. Make a fake head, preferably soft, and carry that, or pin it to your arm so you can hold the reins.

Does it have to be halloween themed? Id go as a needle in a haystack. Cover old sheet/rug in hay (fold out , glue then shake hay over) and dress yourself in grey/silver/tinfoil. cheap and easy

How about a mad vet?

Get some theatre greens off someone who works in NHS (no I'm not suggesting they steal anything - just borrow....!) Splatter with ketchup, put on a mask, get a theatre cap to go over hat - find a toy stethscope.....and we're away.....
