My sharer has taken him on full loan! She's moving yards to a DIY yard but I think that's probably better TBH - she'll be 10 mins away and will always have me a phonecall away.

Went to watch my friends do cross country today and I got very jealous watching people bomb around on their chilled out section D's so I think I've made the decision to rehome Oscar to a competitive home with a teenager (ideals, I know!)

I'm hoping my friend will take him on until christmas (I'll pay livery) and she can school/compete him until she finds another horse and then I'll sell him just after christmas. Not a great time to sell but he'll be very reasonably priced and I think those sort of horses will be a little more in demand what with the current climate.

Will take a few months off horses and then look for something once Oscar has gone....

So lots of decisions made and finally feel that I'm seeing the wood for the trees!

nice to see things worked out for you!

Yeah thanks - my friend is taking Oscar either this weekend or next weekend and going to get him up together for me for 3 months - I think that way I'll know whether it's right to keep him or sell him....I just don't have the confidence/experience to bring him back into work and do the indoor circuit on him this winter....I'm sure there will be lots of reports coming up!
