What colour is he? Dad was a TB (Zara Crackle- used by NF breeders) mum was NF. Dont know any more. I dont know anything about Zara Crackle either. So if anyone knows anything about him I would love to know.

He went grey in the mane and tail at about 4 yrs old. The other white he has is a white star and back legs but with flecking in the coat.

I am guessing some sort of rabicano. I always described him as dark bay with a grey mane and tail. I know it doesnt matter in the great scheme of things as he is a very old man but I would love to know!:):)

The grey round his face has come with age but the mane has beeen grey for a long, long time!
Sorry he is looking a bit scruffy!:D

Pics are not recent but from last few years.

Possibly Brown Silver?
I'm not sure to be honest.
The grey on his face is probably from age.

If you want, and if no one else responds, I can ask on another forum with some colour experts - they probably will have a much better idea than me.

Thanks. Please do ask on another forum. The grey on his face is old age. I will upload a piccy of him as a youngster. In the second photo of the two immediately below you can see his grey mane. He must have been about 6 or 7 in that photo.

I think this was taken in 1978 LOL! He was 2. Sorry about the quality and  at the lunge rein! even more at the Starsky and hutch cardigan! He didnt have a grey mane as a 2 year old.

He went grey at 4 after he had his first flu jabs. I always thought it was a reaction to the jabs but now I am not sure.
More recent- last winter I think.
