FAO Everyone - re PIDGE

Aw Pidge - I had no idea. Very warmest thoughts winging your way. You have achieved so much, I am sure Dave would be really proud of you. And Pidge!

Hope the day hasn't been too difficult Pidge. I hope you have many happy memories to look back on and maybe those of us fortunate to still have our partners might take a moment to appreciate them in your hubbies honour today.

hugs

Only just got in from having a balti and found this post, made me cry, but in a good way as I realise how many nice people there are on here, and that I think I've made some good friends on here

Went for a balti with mum dad and sis as it was Dave who introduced us to baltis years ago, mum always used to hate the smell of them let alone the taste but now loves them

I still can't believe its 4 years since I watched him die of cancer

Life can be incredibly cruel but it has made me a different and hopefully better person. So am going to bore you all with a few of Suey's wisdoms

I try not to get stressed about things - if its not a matter of life or death then its not important
Life is too short - sod tomorrow and live for today
Do what makes you happy as you haven't got a crystal ball
Have a work life balance - work funds your lifestyle but don't let it get in the way of your life
Oh and one very important lesson that I should know better not to do - After having a lesson with instructor and horse is sweaty do not just take bridle off horse and leave in box with boots and saddle on whilst booking next lesson 10ft away as said horse has a damn good roll with saddle still in place as he always rolls when sweaty

I have a very fond memory of asking my totaly non horsey mother to hold liberty while I put the course up...I was so deep into course building that it took me a while to relise....There was a little smug pony happily curled up on the floor with my mother still holding the reins paying no attention suduced in her newspaper
