FAO Janet George re stolen tack

I moved to East Anglia, Suffolk/Norfolk border and it's rife round here with 'sites' mostly mobile though a few fixed ones unfortunately it's real horse country as well so rich pickings. They constantly flout the law, chuck their (any kind of) waste on public land, fly tip drive without licences, insurance etc etc.. One site is right on the doorstep of the towns' Tescos and the brazenness of the thieving that goes on is crazy. Obviously these are smaller things in comparison to the organised crime etc that goes on (seriously who doesn't work but can afford brand spanking new Audis/RangeRovers/vans/caravans....And who sells them to these people for cash??) I moved yards quite recently but before I went I was out for a bimble round the country roads on my youngster and got followed back to the yard by a white transit van and shonky old trailer.... Unfortunately it was one route back and no off road options but I was pretty scared, as a 32 yo adult (Northern Irish so I have some big kahunas when required :) ) I kept turning round and snapping pics on my phone to get the Vehicle Reg etc. Police weren't interested. At all. Not sure when it became one rule for the law abiding 'decent' citizens of the country and one rule for these lot but it makes my blood boil.
