FAO - Spookypony and others with a silly horsie

Just to prove that life is tough for little ponies and that you are not the only one with a pony who is scared of everything including its own shadow!

Silly Sunsilk's story......

I rode her in the front field today as we often do, however there was a pile of white dressage markers piled up, next to a pile of lettered dressage markers and a cone with a blanket draped over next to them. We walked past first time quite happily, just looked at them slightly sideways.
Worked her for about 45mins-ish and walked back round the field on a loose rein and would you believe it that pile of markers they had woken up from the snooze they were obviously having last time past and they swore at her and threw things as we went past

now of course mummy up top was totally oblivious to this, until she was suddenly hanging on as Sunsilk tried to make a quick sideways exit.

We went backwards and we went sideways and we snorted and and we did fancy backwards and sideways at the same time type movements

In the end i got off and led her past numerous times and once we calmed down about the white markers, that darned cone, well that started up jumping up and down and generally causing great distress to a poor poor little scared yellow pony

But its all ok, they made friends in the end........

You gotta love her, if i didnt i'd only throttle her!

Brook tell us he has never seen white boards before, and are terrifying. Yet, he has been competing the best part of 9 years, and is bold as anything XC. Ponies- Gotta love them

Darcy attempted shooting off across a field today across a coloured pole in the trees

The irrigators/ tractors weren't an issue today though

I don't think Brook and Sunsilk should ever meet!!

Oh its always the innocent looking things that attack for no reason!

Tractors you can see and hear them coming!

Haha, so what are the top 5 silly things your horse has spooked at?!
1) His own shadow, both when the sun came out mid-ride and other times.
2) A butterfly.
3) one, lone branch.
4) A bush poking out of the school fence.
5) A willow branch and or/ easter egg.

Hmmm well
Grass that is a different colour/patch of clover/big dock leaf type plants
The bucket that has sat on the corner of the yard all winter but just might be hiding a monstor behind it
The gate that was open earlier and is now shut
The jumps which live by in the same place by the side of the school

Basically the whole world and everything in it is out to get Sunsilk, there are monstors hiding everywhere!!
