I'm afraid the livery yards I know best are in Mottram/Hollingworth area, rather than the other side of glossop. There's a couple of decent ones on Monks Road in Glossop and some in Hadfield up by Dinting station (the ashes) but they always seem a bit windswept to me

There aren't many private yards, with a school around the area that I know of, and I haven't seen any adverts recently

Mottram/Hollingworth would be fine. I know there's Butcher's Piece off Monks Road but it's up for sale and been there, done it, got the T Shirt
