Sounds a pretty hard core fly spray. It’s a bit £££ though.
Has anyone used it? Wondering if it’s worth the money as not a lot seems to be working!

Yes, used it for years. Grimace at the cost. That and the hot horse ones. They don't repel the horse flies but do seem to cut down on bites.

Have you tried Zero Flyz? I went this morning to do my pony and he was being bothered by flies. Sprayed with Zero Flyz and they pretty much left him alone. If it doesn't work for you, if you contact the owner of the company she will send you more of the base mix to make a stronger solution. It's all natural ingredients.

Yes, my new one was unrideable until I found it.

It dies say not licensed for use on horses but that's UK, they've got US and German licenses so I'm content to use it.

Asorbine Ultra is very similar for half the price, works as well but doesn't seem to last as long.

Having said that they both work all day rather than a few hours like most fly sprays.

If I can't get either of those I use Phaser. Nowhere near as good but stocks of the others disappear as summer goes on. I have 8 bottles in my garage.

Where do you spray it? As you’re not supposed to put it on the horse directly and most horse flies are out in the fields

On the horse or liberally on the fly rug (it's the stuff the impregnated rugs are treated with).

Its not Licensed for use on animals in the UK but is in other countries like US and Germany so either they have different horses to us or they have lower standards or Farnham cba to get a UK license.

I've used it for years too - according to the supplier I was using at the time, it was majorly cost prohibitive to get a license as a fly spray to go on the skin in the UK, so the manufacturer/distributor decided against it and that's why it's only marketed for use on surfaces.

Does the hot horse one stop the horse flies being able to bite?
I had a video of Rigs when he was sprayed and I was riding. It was just like their sales video where the fly walked around his rump yet didn't bite. It circled, looking presumably for somewhere to sink its teeth, but didn't. I've used it ever since for the horse flies.

I use TriTec as it seems to cut down on the number of flies and Hot Horse as it seems to stop the remainder from biting.

I mainly use a zebra rug though, even rode out in one last night.

I've used the Tri-Tec one with success. I don't like using chemicals like this but sometimes needs must. It actually kills flies - I would find lots of dead flies collected in the belly flap of my horse's fly rug. But you need to replace the bottle every year. I had half a bottle left over from the previous year and it had no effect. Bought a new bottle and massive effect.

I use Absorbine Ultra Shield. Another one not licensed in this country for use on horses but is in other countries. Works very well and also seems to stop horse flies. It doesn't have such a horrible chemically smell as Power Phaser, I always felt I could feel my lungs curling up and dying smelling that 😱
