Anyone know where I can look up on-line farriers in my area? My horse has lost a shoe and unusually my regular farrier is unable to come out until after the weekend to replace the shoe. Is it rude to ask another farrier to come out and replace a shoe if I am not one of his clients? Or should I simply wait until my farrier can replace the shoe? It just means that my horse will have to stay in all weekend and I won't even be able to excercise him. I'd really like the shoe back on as quick as possible.

Have you asked your regular farrier to recommend anyone? Often they have a good idea of which other farriers are likely to be helpful.
