Farrier help......is it wrong to go for one whose good looking??

I am in need of a new farrier in the Bucks area for a friend, I got recommended Dean Dibsdall - does anyone know if he is any good??

Is it wrong to go with a farrier who is good looking ???

I couldn't care less what a farrier looks like as long as he does an excellent job, is good with my horse and has an approachable attitude!

Seeing as you have to hold your horse and look at his bum for anything up to an hour its only fair to yourself to go for a looker, IMO.

He doesn't have to be good looking, but having a nice ass in jeans when you're going to be staring at it is a MUST HAVE!!!!

I notice everyone is addressing the looks question and no-one has actually commented on if they know this farrier or not (I don't for the record)!!!!

As long as he's good at his job AND good looking then that's okay, if he's a cr*p farrier but attractive, resist

Well, it certainly helps if they are good looking! Must admit I have had a couple (to shoe my horse) in the past thirty years, and always managed to get time off/arrange for him to come when I could be there (just in case of problems you understand!)

Now, however, I am past all that, my horse is barefoot and the lovely young lad who does his feet is young enough to be my grandson.....and the son of an old friend!

Good looking in a very young and boyish way though................

Dean was the apprentice of the farrier that used to come do the horses at the yard I worked at. He does a good job & is good with the horses.

Im just happy if they are good at their job and can fathom out how to use a watch tbh. Mine could look like Lurch out of the Munsters and I wouldnt care
As it happens hes not totally unfortunate looking, but he does nothing for me (Ive only got eyes for my OH )
