Right my farrier has let me down again, ive given him well over a week to get back to my messages, so its time to find yet another farrier.

I do know a few farriers in the area, but would rather not use them, so i am now looking for recommendations. I have heard about a newly qualified farrier called chris who trained with neil bradbury but dont know is surname or anyone that has his number. Please could anyone help ive looked on the registered farriers website but nothing jumps out at me.
And matt has now gone 10 weeks with his shoes, im starting to really worry.

Hi, I'm just outside Derby and I've just tried a new farrier today (after recommendation on here)...he is recently qualified but got to say I was really impressed. He was more thorough than any farrier I've had before...his names Tim Boulton...PM if you want his number....

I don't know who you are currently using/not using anymore but we have 3 farriers who come to our yard all of which I would be happy to reccomend. James Warden (newly qualified and reccomended to us by Jimmy Alton, very good farrier), Dorian Madin and Matthew Hemsley from Flagg. I have all of their numbers if u need them!

Hope u find someone.

Matt Hemsley is fantastic (my Farrier) but think he is pretty much booked up :(

There are a couple of other farriers that friends use, but can't remember their names, think one is a Sam and the other a Graham, but could be completely wrong. If I do remeber will PM you details.

Sean Rutland, a great farrier, I can pm you his number if you would like, though not sure if he is taking on at the moment.

He is a great laugh as well.

i would never use niel in a million year would rather shoe my horses my self. i use stuart shepherd im pretty sure he goes over that way i wold have no problems recommending him.

I also would never use Neil, I have a guy called Sam Deken (Dekin) something like. He trims ours, both don't have shoes. But he was reccomend to me and turns out sister-in-law knows him from way back and said he is good. Also you can get him on the phone and her turns up when he says he will. PM you the number.

OP - you could try contacting your nearest big equestrian centre or competition yard and asking them who they use or whether they can recommend anyone in the area.

I'm too far south to know anyone who would travel to you I think.
