Farrier help

Hey Just wondering if anyone knew the numer for Richard Speck? Or for any GOOD reliable farrier in the nottingham area, as Im about ripping my hair out with current one !

I dont think mansfield is close enough, he would have to travel all the way to bingham area and its a fair way, but thankyou. I may have to give paul taylor a try. Im just fed up of having unreliable farriers. She has 2 shoes off, and mine is great in the winter when he has the hunter contract, but I dont have time to wait for 5 hours as I did the other day to have him eventually answer the phone and say he was at another yard and a few more people asked him to do theirs!!!

He made me so mad that I lost it with him compleatly and I dont think he would do her now if I wanted him to! I might have to follow liz taylors example and marry a farrier so that there is constantly one on hand as I had the opotunity to go to a jump comp on her on sunday which would have been first comp other than inhand and now I cant go

Ok my little rant is over but that man better hope he or any of his sniveling employes dont cross my path anytime soon!

I can't keep shoes on Athena bless her as her feet won't grow! She's been on Biotin for the past month and I can definitely see a change in her hooves, so hopefully when my farrier comes again he may suggest trying her with shoes on.

I hate it as I can only ride her on the grass. It looks like she's tip toeing when she walks on gravel and stones and I feel horrible for making her walk on them!!!!
