Farrier in North Wales ( Whitford area) help please !

Hi all- I posted for help for livery yards in N Wales last Autumn - and found one - thank you all- I have secured a stable at Mostyn Farm :) and I will be moving my horse there mid march when i move up with my job.

I am paraniod about finding an excellent farrier..... I have had horse since 3yo & 15 now - always had same farrier.

Horse has good feet but could easily run under at heels if not done properly.

Anyone from that area able to recommend farrier (s) that will take new clients on and go to that area.

I would like to speak to & get on the books of one before i actually move up....

Paul smith does mine. He brill with my horses cos one has to be sedated!! He patient and kind. Can't give his number on here but am sure he will be listed in phone oak and your yard should have his number are you liveried at mostyn farm ride yard, fab place.
 
Thank u -I seen Paul Smith mentioned on a thread on here from a while ago - he is on the farriers reg council web list so can get his details from there.

There used to a farrier of same name that used to do a friends horse years ago here in Berks ( he was into carriage driving ) - not the same one by any chance?

Yes - will be stabling DIY at Mostyn Farm - paying now ! but moving up mid March - will be living Prestatyn & working Mostyn do it fits well with the before & after work trips !

hoping to make lots of new horsey friends as all new for me - lived in Berks all my life !!
scarey & exciting too !

Someone has said you can ride on beach near by ? so lots to investigate :-)
